This coat is made
of soft corduroy. Corduroy is a durable, ridged fabric. This fabric is
known for its unique ridge pattern, thick texture, soft touch,
appearance and wearing comfort. When corduroy producers weave it in
various widths, it becomes a blazer. Fabric historians believe that
corduroy originated around 200 AD from an Egyptian fabric called
fustian. Now corduroy fabric is back in fashion.
